The parsonage is gone, as well as most of the town is gone.” Today LCMS Disaster Response committed $100,000 to help with the relief effort following Monday's dual tornadoes that almost swept the small farming community of Pilger, Neb., off the map, killed two people, injured more than a dozen, damaged dozens of homes, and demolished St. John Lutheran Church and its parsonage.
